In harmony with the grandeur of its surrounds, Quartet has been intimately considered to effortlessly meld within its existing streetscape.
Read against neighbouring architecture, the stunning form translates as a single, sonorous structure. Yet, individually these four generous homes have been designed to accentuate their unique outlook and promote flexibility for owners. Drawing inspiration from the legacy of beautiful naturescapes that define the local community, Quartet’s design enmeshes internal and external spaces.
Intentionally connecting lower level living spaces to the abundant landscaping of ground floor courtyards, each residence also strategically invites the natural vistas that act as a backdrop to the homes inside, through the inclusion of innovative window solutions, terraces, skylights and clever framing. This homage to nature is similarly echoed throughout both colour and textural palettes in the homes, as well as in selection of materiality. Subtle slabs of pale limestone create a sophisticated yet holistic facade that is accentuated by patinated metal framing and deeply-hued glazing, giving both a warm and established feel to the building.

I believe it can be found in objects, surrounds and many other things, but there is a particular joy in loving the space that you wake up in and go to bed in every day. The place where you entertain your friends, grow your family or rest and reflect. I am lucky enough to love my job because I simply love creating spaces for people to enjoy. The materials and quality that make a home create an emotional response – I always strive to draw these emotions into our projects because I believe its the first element that people are attracted to. Afterall, these are not just buildings we are creating, but homes in which a family’s heritage will be sown, grown and enjoyed.
